I had traveled to Europe before with an additional friend and he required a normal sized camcorder. When I travel to Europe, I don't like to stand out as a tourist and I was constantly embarrassed when he would remove his regular video camera ... It was so useful and I won't ever again take a regular sized camcorder on vacation. I'm sure you could get better video and still image resolution on another camera; but as this camera is so delightfully compact, I can't grumble. ...
