my wife wanted to go to italy for a vacation 4 year ago. we went to the Italian embassy at NYC. not only was the visa area in a dungeon like basement, all. ... actually ok (or allowed?) to land up in a different schegen country with respect to the country which had issued the visa? (b) If so, has any one had an pleasant tourist Schengen visa experience in any other European consulate – in NYC – i.e. (i) lower wait time, and (ii) passport returned within 2-3 days? Thanks. ...
