Joe Leibovich has written a book that manages to poke fun at itself, while assuming the role of an American seeing Europe for the first time. He and his wife are sightseers, certainly. But they are eating their way across Europe in between sights. ... But if you are as literal as I am, you will be disappointed that the book isn't an ode to culinary tourism.
