Skiing Centre

You can easy come to Kranjska Gora also from the south, if you visit the picturesque Soča river, use the Vršič mountain pass, but be aware, that the pass is closed a good part of the year because of the snow.
Kranjska Gora is one of the most known skiing centers in the Alpine area, and probably the most known in the Eastern Alpine area. You can choose from different Hotels and appartments, and try your luck in one of the many Casinos.

The ski slopes are almost entering the town, and thousands of ski enthusiasts enjoy the ski slopes, that spread for more than ten kilometers, every year.
If you don't know how to ski and would like to learn, just visit one of the many skiing or snow boarding schools in Kranjska Gora. Or you can always enjoy the sledding hills.

If you don't like the summer heat, then you will be excited over Kranjska Gora in the summer, because it's mild climate will cool you off. Sledding is an option in the summer, or just visit small towns and villages around Kranjska Gora. It is a place where you just won't be bored at any time.
